  1. Don’t know when U started this Damy but a fabuloso idea! In this teaching diploma that I’ve been doing I have learnt quite a bit about learning. I have come to understand that as much as human beings are builders of ‘things’ we are makers of meaning, in the things we create we make meaning in our world I have come to see that that is the essense of creativity. Keep on creating!

    1. That is what meaning does. That is what creation does.

And the very best creation does not put the windows on the ground or in odd positions just because the past 600 years were some sort of mistake.

Robert Venturi is a cock knobble and that is one damn fugly building.

Post Modernism failed to grasp Pollock. He wanted us to do more math not less. But his mistake was just handing kids the triangle and leaving them to find it. We are not all genius. We need symbols iconography metaphors and so on.

      Life *needs* instruction.

John Harrisons big wooden clock wins. 560 years old and it still has meaning and is still beautiful.

Remember how when I was little I could not read the clock and the Uncle would say, ‘Damien what is the time?’ since it was incomprehensible to me.

Well now I am making the time bitches!
